In Honor of our Beloved Mother Mary Louise Robles who was born on March 9, 1968 to Jonas Robles and the late Christine Williams Robles in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The Lord in His perfect and sovereign wisdom saw it fitting to ascend Mary to her heavenly resting place on February 13, 2010 where she quietly slipped away in her sleep.
Mary resided in Linden, New Jersey for the past 15 years.
She will be missed deeply. She never stopped caring and giving her best. Mary who was kind, outgoing, loving and friendly was loved by all. Mary's mother was a major part of her life and she followed her mother's footsteps as her favorite past time was cooking, and watching children. She was a devoted daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Mary also liked to read the Bible and her favorite book in the Bible was Psalms. If you called her home she recited the 23rd Psalm on her answering machine… The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want… We can remember many things about Mary but she leaves a legacy of love and dignity.
Mary was predeceased by her mother, Christine of Linden, New Jersey. She leaves to cherish her loving memories of her father, Jonas Robles of Linden; her children, Tanya Irby of Roselle, New Jersey; Todd Robles of Linden, New Jersey; Sonya Jones of Linden, New Jersey; and her companion of 18 years, Anthony Smith and his daughter Antonia Smith. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Louise Robles; siblings, Rosemarie Robles of Fresno, California; Christine (Robert) Peoples of Rahway, New Jersey; Anthony Robles of Fort Worth, Texas; her grandchildren, Tamara, Joy'Sad'e, Ra'miah and GyaVonni as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
